PICTURE THIS: WINDOWS ON THE AMERICAN HOME

Artifacts and digital media were contextually framed in a series of free-standing wall units, placed to accentuate the gallery’s natural fenestration and reveal layered viewpoints of varying transparency as the show progressed. High gloss paint dematerialized the Museum’s walls and floor, creating a weightless and reflective field for viewing objects. The light within the exhibition was defined by an illuminated historic timeline and the ever-shifting natural light diffused through the building’s south-facing windows.
